Soroptimist Internationa includes four Federations.Each Federation corresponds to a geographical region :
The creation of the Soroptimist International African Federation was officially inaugurated by the President of Soroptimist International 2020 - 2021, Sharon Fisher at the Soroptimist International Annual General Meeting (SIAGM) on 30 June 2020. It thus becomes the 5th Federation of Soroptimist International in the world.
Soroptimist International of the Americas (SIA) was formed in 1921 by a group of 80 women in Oakland, California. Currently with about 30,000 members in 20 countries and territories, SIA’s mission is to improve the lives of women and girls through programs that lead to social and economic empowerment. View more.
For almost a century now, Soroptimists have been working to eliminate violence against women and girls and ensure women’s participation in conflict resolution. View more.
With 8,000 Members in 352 Clubs in 29 countries including Great Britain, Ireland and countries in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Malta, Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland(SIGBI), works at a local, national and international level to educate, empower and enable opportunities for women and girls. Soroptimist International of the South West Pacific (SISWP) currently includes thirteen countries in the Asia Pacific Region. These countries are: Australia, Cambodia, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands and Thailand. View more
